'World Series Game 6': Royals' 10-0 Win Over The Giants Ignites A Game 7
The World Series come to an end for one more night as the Kansas City Royals pushed for a Game 7 as they took over the San Francisco Giants from the beginning to the end.
The start of the sixth game was calm, but aggressive. The game becomes more intense as Mike Moustakas' double led Alex Gordon for a home, leading the Royals to an advantage against the Jake Peavy. Nori Aoki blowed an opposing field to place it to 2-0, finishing the Giants starter Jake Peavy. After long reliever Yusimeiro Petit had his getaway postseason, he then laid down his arms for a two run single to Lorenzo Cain as to stretch the Giants' shortage. Meanwhile, Eric Hosmer made his second hit in as many innings, a double that was followed by Billy Butler double. In the second inning, the Royals made seven runs all in all.
James Shields has not won a couple of games in the baseball series, which forced Royals to have a starting pitcher. In the event, Yordano Ventura performed big time. Twenty three year old Ventura made pitches allowing seven scoreless innings. He gives up on just three hits and strike out four in the occasion.
Mike Moustakas piloted the first part of the game and gave a finishing blow with a solo home run in the seventh to place the score to 10-0, which would remain the same since Jason Frasor struck out Gregor Blanco to conclude the game and push an electrifying Game 7.

Sports Illustrated says that World Series Games 7 is rare. Some instances in history were Jack Morris' 10-inning opposing John Smoltz and the Braves in 1991, the walk-off single of Marlins' Edgar Renteria against the Cleveland in 1997, and Luis Gonzalez's broken bat winning single against Mariano Rivera in 2001.
Meanwhile, the sixth game of the World Series had the lowest ratings as per USA Today. Giant's win last Tuesday made 8.1 ratings, which was about 28 percent lower from the last year's ratings of 11.3 in the matchup between Boston and St. Louis. According to the website, the 8.1 rating was the highest among the series. The ratings may go higher with the upcoming Game 7 on Wednesday.
