According to Breathe Cast, there are rumors circulating on the internet that the "Attack on Titan" might be released in April 2015. However, the developer, Wit Studios has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors. Other reports claim that Wit Studios has stopped the development of other episodes of the new season as they are currently waiting for the release of the upcoming volume 15 of the manga "Shingeki no Kyojin." As a matter of fact, "Attack on Titan" is entirely based on "Shingeki no Kyojin".
As of now, it has only been confirmed that Wit Studios will be releasing two new prequels this year. Recently, the internet was abuzz due to the leaked ratings from the Australian Classification Board as various websites were claiming that the upcoming "Attack on Titan" 3DS game was given a 15+ nature due to the extremely violent plot that it has. It is however, not surprising to the fans considering that both the TV and manga versions are known to have very violent plots a well.
Meanwhile, it is rumored that the first prequel episode which will accompany the much talked about volume 15 release has been titled 'Attack on Titan: No Regrets Birth of Levi.' Kodasha Comics gave a statement which described the premise of the upcoming episode which read, "The prequel to megahit 'Attack on Titan' answers the questions: How did Captain Levi of the Survey Corps go from street tough to humanity's strongest soldier? And how did commander Erwin become a cold, calculating leader, ready to sacrifice anything for the human race? The fires that forged this bond of loyalty and trust were intense indeed!"
It has been confirmed that the first prequel and volume 15 of the manga will be released on December 2015.
