'Winds Of Winter' Release Date Latest News: No Deadline for Martin
There is no doubt that George R. R. Martin is one of the most talented authors in the current times who has rightly earned his place. With outstanding success in every book that he is written in the past, Martin is now working on probably the most anticipated novel releasing next year. According to some publishing experts "The Winds of Winter" was supposed to be released this year but things weren't very quick for Martin.
In fact, recently when the author came down to California to promote his new book called "The World of Ice and Fire," he joked about his writing speed and distractions in the world. When reporters from Guardian asked him whether writer's block was keeping him to complete the book, Martin said that it was more about concentrating problems. There is so much going on in his life that he can hardly figure out what time to dedicate into the book.
Martin also talked about how much he does not want to tell everything in one book. He said that it's more important to look at what not to tell as there will be a lot to come after the release of "The Winds of Winter."
Meanwhile, there were speculations that publishers want him to finish the manuscript before mid 2015 and Martin was bound by a contractual obligation. However, he did not seem serious about it and said that there is no deadline for him. According to the author, he only writes where he's comfortable without any distractions and his home was way better than hotels and airplanes. Looking at such carefree attitude, it seems that fans will have to wait for a long while before they can expect an official release date for the next novel.
On the other hand, Martin has been pretty generous in giving out some plot details especially those that involve a lot of blood and death. From sample chapters to answering some important questions about the plot, Martin seems to be game for such talks, especially when he knows that releasing some details will not affect how people stay curious about the story that is releasing soon enough.
