What Can Apple Watch Do without iPhone: Exclusive Updates
Apple, as a brand and as a technology company, is not really known to invent new things. It is rather popular for taking the most convenient piece of technology and makes it worthy enough to be used in our daily lives. Be it iPod or iPhone, the technology was already there in the market, but what Apple did with it was brilliant. They made it beautiful and drool worthy.
Now, last month Apple has finally revealed its plans to be working on a new watch technology believing that wearable gadgets will change course of future. There are of course many watches around already and yet Apple has seemed to surprise us all. But, is it anything without the iPhone? What can it actually do? Why should you look forward towards it?
Talking about its features, Apple Watch is a calendar that keeps you updated on appointments and meetings. It even facilitates navigation with the help of phone on its multi functional touch screen. This watch is even your Passbook that can store tickets, boarding passes, cards, coupons, and what not.
You can control music play through the watch, or even keep an iPhone camera far away and control how the picture looks. Then there are usual things like stopwatch, timer, alarm, world clock, stocks, and weather that you will expect from such a smartwatch. Additionally, with colors and designs, it's one of the most fashionable smart watches that you'll see around.
However, there is one thing that separates this watch from everything else and that's precision. Its heart rate monitor is better than any other smartwatch, and with its NFC chip, it assists Apple Pay on phones like iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, and 4S.
Now coming to the core question, what is it without the iPhone? It's nothing. If you do not own an iPhone, there is no way Apple Watch will do anything for you. It has been developed as a dependant technology that brings most of the iPhone on smartwatch with the help of Bluetooth. Actually, that's the philosophy behind the Apple Watch. It is exclusive to only the users that already own Apple products.
