'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Spoilers, News, Release Date, Review, Premiere and Updates: Foreseen Flashbacks and Changes!
Let the "Game of Thrones" begin! GOT followers are excitedly waiting for the new season of "Game of Thrones," a season fanatics shouldn't miss! A lot of changes will happen; a lot of new characters will appear. So, hold your horses and let us have a peek in the newest season.
Expect some Changes!
No gruesome journey for Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) from King's Landing to Meereen city. "The Game of Thrones" book version showed a long narrative on how Tyrion escaped, after killing his father Tywin (Charles Dance) - his enslavement, the humiliation he had to endure by becoming a dwarf performer and finally how he joined the group of mercenaries. All removed in season five of "Game of Thrones" TV series. Followers will at once see Tyrion seating next to Hizdahr zo Loraq, the new husband of Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) in the first episode.
Jaime visits Dorne. Rumor has it that Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster Waldau) will visit Dorne, when in fact in the book version he never went to the place. What is Jaime up to in Dorne?
New characters will join the game. Actor Adewale Akinnuoye- Agbaje will join season five. Agbaje will play Maiko in the series. No other details are given except that his character is not in the book version. Meanwhile, three other characters will show up in season premiere episode. They are the "Sand Snakes"- composed of three illegitimate daughters of Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascual). In season four, fans saw the horrific death of Oberyn under the hands of Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane (Hafpor Julius Bjornsson). Because of the tragic incident, the Sand Snakes will retaliate. The illegitimate daughters are Obara Sand (Keisha Castle- Hughes), Tyene Sand (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) and Nymeria Sand (Jessica Henwick).
Old characters return flashback style. After four intense seasons of no flashback, "Game of Thrones" finally decided to use the trick. The question is -who will return? Speculations are high that it might be the "beheaded" Ned Stark (Sean Bean), or Tywin, killed by Tyrion in the finale last season.
The naked walk of Cersei. In the book version, the naked walk of Cersei in King's Landing is a crucial aspect of the story. The question is would actress Lena Headey do the walk in the TV series?
Meanwhile, aside from the members of the Stark, Lannister and Targayen clans, other new characters for the latest season are: The son of Doran Martell, Trystane Martell (Toby Sebastian); The elder brother of Oberyn and the ruling Prince of Dorne, Doran Martell (Alexander Siddig); Cersei's daughter , Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free); Dornish palace captain guard, Areo Hotan (DeObia Oparei); King's Landing militant leader, The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce); "Most Devout" member, Septa Unella (Hannah Waddingham); Night's Watch First Steward, Bowen Marsh (Michael Condron) and a slave trader, Yezzan (Enzo Cilenti).
These are just some of the gripping developments in "Game of Thrones" season five. The series is created by DB Weiss and David Benioff. Author George R.R. Martin is the show producer, creative consultant and scriptwriter.
No specific release date yet; but definitely the "game" will begin in 2015!
