Assassin's Creed Rouge PC Version Release Date: The Darkest Chapter in the Assassin's Creed Franchise
As we all know, Ubisoft will release the "Assassin's Creed Rouge" on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2014. Now, Ubisoft confirmed to IGN the release of the game's PC version which will be in early 2015 and its said to be the darkest chapter in the franchise.
The game is set in the frozen north atlantic. The main characters of the new Assassin's Creed franchise will still be Shay Patrick Cormac, still together with some of the familiar faces of the game like Haytham and Adewale. According to Time, Ubisoft reminded the game's fans to wait for quite some time for this new chapter. As cited by the report, "The best place to play the 'Assassin's Creed' series remains a Windows PC, if you don't mind waiting."
Ubisoft explained that the delay of the game's PC version release is because of some production glitches of the game. It is also said that they will also be including some 'subtle visual enhancements'. These enhancements are considered enough reasons for the fans to wait for the PC version of the game.
According to Gamespot, the Rogue chapter upholds the game's 'engaging experience'. Rogue is a continuation of ACIV, the new chapter of the game possess the same hunting feel that will thrill and excite the players, may it be a lone player or a group. "Much like its predecessor, the world Rogue is expansive and the desire to explore every single island and every shipwreck feels just as strong due to the new location" added by Gamespot. Assassin's Creed Rogue will have some additional gameplay techniques like the firecrackers. Also, it is rumoured to be the closing chapter of the well-received game franchise.
The news the PS3 and Xbox 360 title will hit PC is going to fuel speculation about current-gen versions, but when they were asked about an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed Rogue, they just answered "We can't talk about this right now." - IGN.
