Transformers 5 Movie Release Date, Cast, News And Latest Reveals: Michael Bay Has Decided To Exit The Transformers Movie Franchise As Paramount Pictures Announces The Release Date For Transformers 5
We have the latest for you on the release date, cast, news and latest reveals of Transformers 5. The fourth installment of "Transformers" performed quite well and received good reviews particularly with Mark Wahlberg taking the lead role in the movie. The fans have been hoping that "Transformers 5" will include him as a lead star. However, things might just take a different turn as the director; Michael Bay has already made a decision.
According to Christian Today, Bay has decided to exit the Transformers movie franchise and hand over the director seat to someone else. He will now be working on his own documentaries. Bay talked to USA Today and said, "There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make. I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles." He said that he is now busy working on an elephant documentary currently.
As the 49-year-old director has decided to stick to his decision, it has been rumored that Wahlberg might also be exiting the film as well. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will be returning to the movie franchise to reprise their previous roles. In an interview with Movie Pilot, Fox said, "I'm not sure if I'll return. As long as things are good between everyone and Shia returns with me I'd like to see us partner up with a new cast like a crossover." Shia, however, showed a lot of uncertainty about actually making a return to the Transformers movie franchise. He said, "It would be good to do another film but I doubt with the new changes since the third film that Megan could return you know, it might be a love war if me or Rosie both return you know it's not that I don't think about it. But no, I highly doubt if I'll be back for another one. I'll do another Michael Bay film but not Transformers."
The release date of "Transformers 5" has already been announced by Paramount Pictures. The film has been slated for a 24th June 2016. Stay with us for more news on this and much more.
