Downton Abbey Season 5 Episode 6 preview deals with Lady Mary's confusion about Lord Gillingham; Tom Breaking up with Sarah; Lady Edith awaits a big Surprise
Downton Abbey Season 5 Episode 6 will be the second to the last episodes that will be shown for Downton Abbey Season 5, and it would seem that it doesn't feel like that.
In Downton Abbey Season 5 Episode 6, Lady Mary seems to be still confused on what she really wants. After somewhat choosing Anthony Gillingham in the previous episodes, though marriage is out of the question, it seems that Lady Mary does not want the relationship to continue as she asks help from Charles Blake to get Tony and his ex back together.
Charles, on the other hand, is what we thought she will end up with as Lady Mary needs someone who will allow her to think differently about the world, and Charles is on that same league, according to CarterMatt.
Meanwhile, Lady Edith would be in for a surprise that may come her way, as this could shock fans for it will somehow time jump to the beginning of the last season.
Tom breaks up with Sarah even after Lady Mary convinces him that, "We're the future, they're the past. Make the right choice for you, and not for us."
Here is the official synopsis for episode 6 of "Downton Abbey."
"Following last week's altercation, relations between Robert and Cora are strained. Blake's scheming starts to come to fruition, when Mary is unexpectedly pitted against her love rival. Edith receives some terrible news and decides to take drastic measures, leaving people reeling," the synopsis reads.
"Following a mysterious tip off, Baxter becomes embroiled in the investigation of Green's death. Meanwhile, Thomas' condition is deteriorating, prompting him to finally reveal the truth to Baxter. It's not all bad news however, love is in the air for more than one member of the Crawley family," it continued.
The fifth season of "Downton Abbey" is currently airing in the U.K. and will premiere in the U.S. on Jan. 4, 2015 on PBS.
