Apple iPhone 6 vs LG G4: Battle of the High Ends; Which Will Come Out On Top?
Following the release of Apple's new iPhone 6, other smartphone giants are following suit in developing and producing new flagship models.
According to ChristianToday, LG, one of the leaders in smartphones, is rumored to be releasing the new LG G4 next year.
The Apple iPhone 6 is running the latest iOS 8 which has new customization features, while the LG G4 will probably run Android's newest version, the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Both of the smartphones' operating systems are the most updated.
Apple's new 64 bit A8 processor is fitted on the new iPhone 6. However, CNET reports that the upgrade of the processor was not very significant, but nevertheless still noticeable. Apple also says that the new processor is 25 percent faster and includes an increase of 50 percent in the iPhone 6's graphics.
As for the LG G4, it is expected to have also a 64 bit processor, which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 which was just recently announced during this year. This particular chipset will also be included in other Android devices from competitors such as the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6.
For the iPhone 6's display, it packs a decent 4.7 inch screen. A definite step up from its predecessors, but still quite small compared to the new Android smartphones in the market. The screen is powered by IPS and has a pixel resolution of 1,344 x 750 pixels and the same 326 pixels per inch density.
While the LG G4 is rumored to pack a Sapphire screen, which will also be featured in Apple's new smartwatch. If the speculations turn out to be correct, then it will be a strong advantage over other devices because of its unparalleled strength.
For the camera, the iPhone 6 has an 8 Megapixels camera. In the Android world, it's still miniscule as most smartphones now pack more than 10 Megapixels for its rear cameras.
The G4, however, has still no updates on what camera will be used. Speculations do say that it will definitely be an upgrade from the successful LG G3 which has a 13 Megapixel camera.
