Xbox One November Update: New Features, Updated Profiles and Customized Backgrounds
The Xbox One November update is expected to include user customized backgrounds, improved player profiles, additional television and internet features, Xbox Wire reports.
Once the owner has completed the Xbox One November update, they will be able to choose their own console background color or art. Microsoft has also announced that in the latter part of October, the Xbox One media player will be given a makeover. This upcoming update will enable owners to use any picture as the background for their Xbox One console.
The Xbox One November update will enable players to "showcase" their achievements or favorite game video clips. These achievements will be shown in the profile page. Xbox One users can showcased up to six video clips.
In the Xbox One dashboard, a new section will be added between the "Friends" and "Store" section. The new tab is called "What's On". This newly added section will grant access to television programs, films, broadcasts from Twitch and your favorite videos on YouTube.
One Guide will have a new tab that will show what television programs are trending inside the Xbox Community and Twitter.
Since Xbox One is a product of Microsoft, the Internet Explorer in the gaming platform will also get an upgrade, Major Nelson reports. The Internet Explorer can be snap from full screen to snap mode through the use of the Address Bar. The updated IE will present the user with a number, every time a new feature has been added to your favorite sites. Sites that you have just added will have a badge displayed for at least a week or until you open the new site.
The Xbox One November update will also minimize the clutter on gaming platform's storage space. The updated Xbox One will help users browse and search contents easily and the updated content will have a more user friendly interface since the categories will now sport a uniformed look.
The Xbox One November update is being given to Xbox One preview members first. The rest of the Xbox One players will received the update next month.
