Mystery Solved!
"Sherlock," the Best British TV Show, is ready to start Season 4. The release date would be 2016. Season four will surely answer some mysteries. Are new characters coming in? Will 'old' characters return for the new season? Speculations are high.
Who is Sherrinford Holmes? Sherlock has two other brothers. Mycroft Holmes (Mark Gatiss) is working for the British government; while the Sherrinford, the eldest, manages the Holmes estate. Will Sherrinford be part of the new season, if yes, who will play his character? Tom Hiddleton is a favorite in the guess list. Hiddleton was in the movies "Avengers" and "Thor."
More of the ladies in season four? In the next season, fans will definitely see Mrs. Hudson (Una Stubbs) the landlady of Holmes and Watson and Mary Morstan (Amanda Abbington), former assassin and new wife of Watson. Hunches are up that one of the ladies will die. Who is it going to be? According to Amanda Abbington in a Vulture interview, Mary Morstan Watson will return in the new season; but for how long?
Mary married Watson and at the same time was pregnant with Watson's baby in the third season. Viewers might see little baby Watson in the fourth season. Other ladies characters who might return in "Sherlock" season four are Irene Adler (Lara Pulver), the 'professional woman' ;Molly Hooper (Louise Brealey), the pathologist at St. Bartholomew's Hospital who has a big crush on Holmes, and Janine (Yasmine Akram), short-lived love interest of Sherlock.
"Sherlock" TV series revolves around a reluctant detective named Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) who investigates different kinds of mysteries/crime scenes happening all over London. Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman), an ex-military serviceman under the Royal Army Medical Corps., will help Holmes solve the mysteries. 'Sherlock" TV series creators are Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.
Meanwhile, aside from the 2016 release of "Sherlock" season four, Primetime Emmy Awards winner actor Martin Freeman, in 'Chatty Man' talk show interview with Alan Carr (Channel 4), revealed that before the fourth season starts, viewers will see a special teaser - a one episode special of "Sherlock". According to Freeman the additional episode is "fantastic, really mouth-watering idea".
