'The World of Ice and Fire' Book: 'Game of Thrones' History Revealed; Latest News, Release Date, Launch, Updates and Spoilers
Hey! Are you a big fan of "Game of Thrones?" Do you love history? If yes to both, then you have to get the new book entitled "The World of Ice and Fire" by saga author George R.R. Martin. Martin wrote the book with co-authors Linda Antonsson and Elio M. Garcia Jr., the pioneers of the Westeros Organization fan site.
It's number one in the best-selling pre-order book choice of Amazon. If you want to know more about the Seven Kingdoms and how the Game of Thrones started, you have to grab the book real fast.
According to euronews, the book "World of Ice and Fire" has 336 pages containing "all the accumulated knowledge, scholarly speculation, and inherited folk tales of maesters and septons, maegi and singers".
Aside from text, the book contains spectacular and interesting maps and artwork. The complete family tree of the Houses Targaryen, Lannister and Stark are also featured plus a description of different cultures in different parts of Essos and Westeros. According to georgerrmartin website, it will show the big picture starting with the Coming of the First Men to the arrival of the Conquerors.

The escape from the "Doom"- Before the destruction of Valyria, the Targaryen was able to leave the city. They travelled from Essos towards Dragonstone in Westorosi Island.
The fight against Valyria - The desperate war against Valyria and its supporters versus the Rhoynar, people from Essos.
All new Vale - The book will also give prominence to a new chapter about Vale.
The complete title of the book is actually "The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History" and is a page-turner. Martin and his co-authors made sure that the history book is full of renowned vindicators and fearless battles.
Idigitaltimes also reports that "The World of Ice and Fire" book presents the history of Essos and Westeros in a totally different way. "A history book from within the world" is how the website described it. Readers will see how the mighty Targaryen rule their side of the world.
