IMac with Retina Display: Significantly Better
Great news for all the creative professionals and visually passionate individuals out there! Apple has created another futuristic device that would make our eyes pop one more time with its powerful features, surely to make it the apple of the eye once again.
Apple Company has released a new version of the IMac, this time, upgrading their 4k Retina Display to 5k.
One might ask if it is necessary to bring further the capacity of the previous powerful 4k Retina to a larger scale, but there are no impossible things for Apple, thus, some might call it "the mother off all desktops." Another question that lingers is that, in this time of high technology where "the second-generation phones" can be inside our pockets or bags, tons of smartphones, laptops, tablets and digital accessories are dominating our market, why is the need for them to release a huge desktop display?
Perfect for those who are in the photography, videography and graphics design industry, the 5k displays might have the same design of the 27-inch 4k model, but it has a 14.7 million-pixel with a screen resolution of 5120x2880; more than 60% compared to the previous panel and 7 times higher pixels than the 4k display. The visual enthusiasts can enjoy the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and those entire programs in no hassle.
Along the Retina Display, it comes along with the OS X Yosemite. It has a 3.5GHz quad core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M290x graphics with 2 GB of GDDR5 video memory and 1 TB Fusion drive that can be upgraded with additional price, of course.
According to International Business Times, iMac and has a sleek design, unnoticeable enough to think that it does not change its visual features from the 4k, but the 5k has 5.5mm bezel, making it thinner compare to the previous one; in addition to that, it has a vigorous sound system placed on the sides of its monitor, unconsciously there, but present. However, the 5k display cannot be used as a passive screen, compared to all the desktop models Apple has released before. It is only used as the primary screen.
According to EN Gadget, the launch of the iMac Retina 5k display seems so overwhelming. With its introductory price of $2499, who would want to spend a huge amount of money? But then again, with its powerful features and strong advantage listed above, one might say, "Shut up and take my money!"
