'Renee Zellweger': Oscar-winning Actress Proud with Her New Look
After her appearance at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills last Monday, Renee Zellweger received various feedbacks from the public. There are public inquiries and rumors as to whether she had plastic surgery, as per Mashable.
Born on April 25, 1969, actress Renee Kathleen Zellweger initially increased well-known attention for her role in the film Jerry Maguire in 1996. She also received a couple of nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her roles as Bridget Jones in the musical comedy "Bridget Jones's Diary" and as Roxie Hart in the comedy musical "Chicago". The actress also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the romance drama, "Cold Mountain".
According to People, Zellweger says that her new appearance is just an effect of a healthier and happier lifestyle. She says she feels happy that people have noticed her new look.
"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," Renee said. "My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things," she added.
Noehren, a mother of a 3-year-old from Glastonbury Connecticut, spoke her thoughts in a statement in CNN. "It's easy to judge others for actions we don't fully understand but we do a detriment to all women when we criticize each other, especially when the criticism is related to our bodies and appearance," she said. "We'd be much better off criticizing a culture that makes women feel badly about themselves if they don't fall into our media's unrealistic and unattainable beauty ideals," she added.
The actress recognized that her looks had changed, but she did not say anything concerning plastic surgery, as per Stuff. "People don't know me in my 40s," she said. "People don't know me (as) healthy for a while. Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?"
