Michael Schumacher Reveals and News: Mick Schumacher, Legends Son Confirms Father's Progress to a Full Recovery

Mick Schumacher, Michael Schumacher's son has confirmed that his father is apparently slowly recovering from his medically induced coma after he suffered severe head injuries from a skiing accident. The recent updates about the slow pace of recovery for the legend were provided by the Younger Schumacher to French F1 commentator Jean-Louis Moncet. Okay, Moncet has basically quarterbacked the story from day 1 concerning the Schumacher recovery, but he was recently in trouble because of implicating his head gear as part of the reason for his extensive injuries.

At the time of the incident, Schumacher was wearing the latest GoPro wearable helmet camera which is used for sports recordings for extreme sports and such. This hurt the GoPro image apparently and since there was not any concrete forensic evidence that supported his claim, he was obviously forced to retract his statement before, GoPro went to court for defamation, of which he is very lucky they did not. GoPro shares recently fell as much as 16 % on the New York market but soon recovered and of course, they know who to thank for that. I would believe that it is in Moncet's interest to lay off the Schumacher case for the time being.

Any causation claim against GoPro would pit the family against the company, which is a position that Corinna obviously does not want to be in considering the amount of effort she has put in to emphasize her need for the family's privacy. At this time, the veteran driver is currently being cared for by 15 medical experts at a specially built medical suite in his Swiss mansion, where he is supposedly fighting to get better. Mick Schumacher is currently poised to follow in his father's footsteps. He even took second place at the Karting world championships in September and won second place at the German junior kart championships which were last week. On the overall, the prognosis for the older Schumacher is that he will soon be able to live a normal life.
