Blackberry Passport Specs, Review, Features, Price And Reveals: The Blackberry Passport Is Designed To Meet Business Needs With Very Unique Hardware Format
We have the latest for you on the specs, review, features, price and reveals of the Blackberry Passport. The Blackberry Passport is a smartphone which has been talked about a lot, may be due to its square shape, or may be due to its high-end specs. The recent Blackberry handsets have been met by different receptions but the Blackberry Passport is trying to attempt to bring a whole new product to the Blackberry fans.
According to ZDnet, the Passport is rather designed to meet business needs. This can be concluded especially after taking a view at the software features like Blackberry Blend, Blackberry Balance and Blackberry Enterprise Service. In a way, the Blackberry is also marketing its very unique hardware format. The Blackberry Passport features two very unique elements; a Blackberry signature keyboard and a square 4.5-inch screen. The smartphone has a 9.3 mm thickness which is the only unremarkable dimension. The handset measures 128mm tall and 90.3mm wide which is far too big to cope with one-hand. More to that, the phone weighs 196g which is also very heavy. One has to struggle a lot in order to carry it around all day.
Unlike many of the other handsets, the Blackberry passport has a 4.5-inch square screen which measure 81mm by 81 mm. it does rotate in some apps but the only reason you'd want to do that is to use the very clever touch feature built into the keyboard which lets you swipe around and scroll. The smartphone has a 1440*1440 screen resolution which delivers an impressive pixel density of 453ppi. The pixel density makes it wonderfully sharp and very clear. The handset has only three rows of physical keys, with no numbers or secondary keys, which are only available in the soft keys. Although the Passport has been primarily manufactured for business users, the Blackberry caters for their home through Blackberry Balance. This allows enterprises to create a secure workspace and it also allows for the installation of personal apps and content.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor supported by 3GB of RAM. Although it takes time to start up, it is smoothly responsive when up and running. The device has 32 GB internal storage which can be topped up to 128GB via microSD cards. More to that it has a 13-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It also features a 3450 mAh battery. The Blackberry passport could go for $599. Stay with us for more news.
