‘Game of Thrones’: The Audition Tape
'Game of Thrones': The Audition Tape
According to Muscle And Fitness, before Jason Momoa bulked up to be Khal Drogo, he was a promising newcomer to Hollywood auditioning for the role, which would launch his career as a celebrity and his audition tape proves that he is not an ordinary newcomer.
As described by ET Online, it is clear after watching the audition tape, Jason Momoa's performance is exceptionally intense and terrifying.
In the audition tape, the actor attempts to impress the producers by doing haka, a tribal dance, which affiliated with the Maori people of New Zealand. Though he does not speak Dothraki during the audition, it is very clear that he is the perfect person for the Khal Drogo's beastly role.
The dance, which is accompanied by a warning chant is known for being performed before the rugby matches by New Zealand All Blacks team. Even if Momoa is not a New Zealander, instead grew up in Hawaii, the actor nailed it. With his trademark hair as well as goatee beard, he disappeared in the zone, performing a fearsome dance while slamming his fists on his thighs and forearms before gasping for him to catch breath.
While the actor is back for audition, his "Game of Thrones" co-star is kissing Gisele Bundchen, a supermodel, in the new short film of Baz Luhrmann for the number five fragrance of Chanel.
The performance of Momoa, which won him the beastly role of Drogo in the hit series of "Game of Thrones", also proves that he has the physical intensity to take the next big role, which is a superhero.
The actor will suit up to play the character of Aquaman in the forthcoming Warner Bros. film titled "Batman v Superman" where he will join Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, who will play Batman and Superman respectively. Gal Gadot will also be part of the upcoming superhero film as Wonder Woman. According to US Magazine, there's still no exact date for the release of the said film, but fans should not miss it in 2016 as this is going to be a huge and spectacular superhero film for everyone.
