Good news to all "Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, Note 3" and Grand 2 users worldwide, you can all update your devices to "Android 4.4.4 KitKat" real soon. There are more devices receiving update this October as announced by the tech giant Samsung. The company has recently released their company's roadmap. They are done with the phase 1 of their "Android 4.4.4" level. Some of the devices that they might already launch have the access to the program. Unfortunately, others may be asked to wait according to the region and carrier they belong. Samsung seems to have the desire on finishing the update as the "Android 5.0 Lollipop" launch comes into view.
The "Android 4.4.4 Kitkat" testing of the "Samsung Galaxy S5" was already completed by the company, as a result, the release should be happening at the end part of this month. The newest and hottest Android software will be features to both the Asian (G900I) and the European (900F) models. Some other tech devices such as the Note 3 LTE GNO005 and the Note 3 N900 are expected to be updated this October.
The units like Note 3 Neo, S4 LTE I9505 and Galaxy S4 I9500 will receive the Android 4.4.4 software by next month according to the document that Samsung have provided. There has no finalization given until now devices like Note 2 N7100, S4 Mini Duos I9192, S4 Mini I9190, Note 2 LTE N7105 including Grand 2 G7105 and Grand 2 Duos G7102.
Christian Post reported that, The "Android 4.4.4 KitKat" Samsung update gives improvements in terms of security, device-specific tweaks and bug fixes. It is maybe cool that users have open up to 285MB space for this kind of software. It is essential that one is capable of securing to a trusted internet connection and adequate battery charge.
According to IB Times, A notification will be sent and received if the device is already available. Users can easily tap the "Download Now" prompt and then choose the "Install Now." There are of course other ways of updating through the Samsung KIES and manual installation. You can manually go to Setting and choose More and then Software updates and proceed to Check for software updates.
