‘Sprint of the Winners’- Sony Xperia Z4 and Apple Iphone 6
'Sprint of the Winners'- Sony Xperia Z4 and Apple Iphone 6
Two giants of the market, Sony and Apple have contributed extra-ordinary gadgets to the world-markets. The Japanese manufacture has come up with two flagship smart-phones in the same series this year- the Xperia Z2 back in February and the Xperia Z3 in September, and the Xperia Z4 is awaited.
It is a very difficult task to compare products like Sony and Apple. However, under some aspects, one phone supersedes the other.
The Apple Iphone 6 has a physical weight of approximately 129g, with dimensions of 138.1×67×67×6.9mm and a 4.7 inches display, with multi-touch. The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to have a 5.5inches QHD.
The Iphone 6 comes with three variants in internal storage i.e., 16/64/128GB, coupled with a 1GB RAM. Xperia Z4 comes with a 4GB RAM and 32GB as the minimum storage variant. However, Iphone 6 does not give room for expansion of memory with a memory card.
Iphone 6 is built on iOS 6 (upgradable to iOS 8.0.2), dual-core 1.4GHz processor on Apple A8 chipset. However, the new Xperia Z4 is built on a 64-bit quad core Qualcom Snapdragon 810 Soc clocked at 2.8 GHz processor.
Looking at the media of the phones, the Iphone 6 has an 8MP primary camera and 1.2MP secondary camera, with autofocus and dual LED flash. According to NDTV, the Xperia Z4 has a 20.7MP primary camera and a new curved rear camera sensor. Iphone 6 does not support Radio and java, which is available on the Xperia Z4. The Xperia Z4 is also tipped to feature Cat.6 LTE and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.
According to GSMArena, Iphone 6 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 1810 mAh battery, with a stand-by capacity of up-to 250 hours; talk-time of up-to 14 hours and a music play time of up-to 50 hours.
The Apple Iphone 6 is priced at approximately $890, as per data of Apple Inc. However, prices vary upon models.
The Xperia Z4 is still to make its entry into the market. However, there are several rumours about the Xperia Z4 floating in the market. The release of Xperia Z4 might be during April, 2014, as reported by AndroidPit.
