HTC Desire 516C Launched in India: Dubbed as Dual-Sim Phone Packed With Top Features; Offers Value for Money
The Taiwanese tech-giant launched several devices in India recently. Among their debuted devices in 'Double Exposure' held last Friday is their newest smartphone, packed with top caliber features available for an affordable price, the HTC Desire 516C, as reported by NDTV.
Known as makers of tech advance but affordable smartphones, HTC said in a press statement that "HTC Desire 516 dual sim has been created for users who care for quality, features, and great value for money product." HTC Desire 516C, which shared almost the same features and specification of its predecessor HTC 516, is dubbed as the 'dual-SIM and CDMA-enabled' version of its sister handset, which was launched last June.
HTC Global President of Sales and Chief Financial Officer Chia-lin Chang also said that HTC 516C possess the Desire series' trademark of "super-fast processing and premium features, at a lower price." He also added that the new device, available at RS 12,990, aim to give the best user experience to its future consumers.
Aside from its dual-SIM capability, Deccan Chronicle reported that the HTC Desire 516C is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that makes the super fast processing possible. This highly powered smartphone allows user to play, browse, read, or watch with smooth and speedy process.
Another key feature of this new Desire phone in the HTC Blinkfeed that is once available for the company's high-end smartphones. This feature allows a real-time streaming of updates, like news and social media, directly to the screens of HTC users around the world.
To give the users the best possible viewing experience, HTC Desire 516C has a 5-inch QHD LCD display at 540 x 960 resolution. In terms of memory capacity, it has 4GB built-in storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB with a micro-SD card. This new HTC smartphone is also equipped with 1GB of RAM.
Its snapper, on the other hand, is at 5MP with LED flash and its selfie camera is at 0.3 MP. The newest Desire handset is also powered by 1950 mAh battery that has 9-hour of talk time and 220-hour of standby time. Its software is somehow outdated which is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
BGR reported that aside from the HTC Desire 516, the smartphone and tablet maker also unveiled its RE camera, HTC One M8 Eye, Desire 820 and Desire 820q in its Mumbai event.
