‘Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice’ Update: Jena Malone one of the Casts; Her Character Remains a Mystery
Avid DC Comics' fans just cannot wait for more tid-bits of information that they can get. As Warner and DC remain mum and are trying so hard to keep every aspect of the upcoming film a secret, rumors just kept on popping and revealing news about the anticipated film for 2016.
The latest update now is that the Hunger Games actress, Jena Malone, is up for the "Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice" movie. Hollywood Reporter reports that the 30-year old actress will be joining the roster of actors in the upcoming film by Warner Brothers and DC Comics.
It is initially reported that Malone, who plays Johanna Mason in "Hunger Games Mockingjay" film, will be playing as the lady counterpart of Batman, which is Robin. The news intensified when the actress posted a picture of her newly-dyed red hair. It is then associated with Carrie Kelley, Robin, who also has the same hair color.
Empire Online reported that rumors about Jena Malone as part of the superhero movie started when WILX described a fight scene between Batman, played by Ben Affleck, and Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg. The scene is said to include a female Robin character in its script. The report then cited an anonymous extra, who informed that Malone will be Robin in "Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice" movie.
Robin's inclusion has high possibility as Affleck has already said that the upcoming movie's director, Zack Snyder, will take some reference to "The Dark Knight" series, HNGN reported. It can be recalled that Kelly's character as Robin was introduced in the Dark Knight comics.
On the other hand, no confirmation has been made yet but reports have been certain that Malone will be included in Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice's casts. It can also be recalled that the American actress have worked with Snyder in "Sucker Punch."
However, Malone as Robin will remain a mystery until "Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice" make its premiere on March 25, 2016. Warner and DC have been very strict in keeping their secrets, as the insider have said that it will cost them multi-million dollars if the two giant companies discovered disclosure of the film's details.
Meanwhile, the two partnering companies have already confirmed that Aquaman will be seen in the upcoming film and it will be portrayed by Jason Momoa.
So as the fans wait for more news, DC and Warner should really keep their security tight because rumors will always be haunting them as "Batman vs Superman" is one of the most anticipated superhero movie of the decade.
