'BlackBerry Classic': How Different Is It From Its Predecessor BB Z10?
The newly leaked BlackBerry Classic photos have been creating drum rolls in the world of the rumor mill, again. These photos show the upcoming device's appearance, but it's more like its previous models from the giant tech company in Canada.
All leaked photos posted on N4BB, previously called as the BB Q20, look much like its earlier smartphone models released and popularized in the previous years like the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve, and BlackBerry Q10.
The new BB Classic, like its predecessors, has the same QWERTY physical keyboard as well as its five-button keys for navigation that all other older models have too.
BlackBerry Classic, according to CrackBerry, has one main negative feedback that's mainly attributed to it being a twin device of BlackBerry Z10. Like BB Z10, it also has dual-core MSM8960; 1.5GHz CPU; 2GB RAM; 8MP primary camera; and 2MP secondary camera.
If these specs are true, it only means that this device will be released as a touch screen 3.46 inch display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. This will run through the Snapdragon dual-core CPU with 1.56GHz clock speed. It, also, has a 16 GB internal memory capacity, which could be expanded with the use of a miscroSD card. This new device will have a 2 GB random-access-memory.
The primary camera that is operating under an 8MP resolution will have varied capabilities like 2DOF video stabilization; 1080p HD, 30 fps video recording; five-times digital zoom; video and image stabilization; continuous touch to focus; flash; F2.2, five element lens, backside illumination, and auto-focus.
Aside from this new device's physical keyboard, it also has an Optical Iconic Trackpad with Escape Key that's positioned in the rightmost portion, while its menu key is positioned in its leftmost side. However, the BB Classic's new TrackPad is said to not have the illumination capacity when touched.
BB Classic will come out in two main colors, white and black. According to Digital Trends, this will be released to the public in November. BB is also said to unveil its Gold Passport smartphone edition, which was also seen with the leaked images this month.
