'Reign Season 2' Episode 4 Spoilers: Bash, Lord Condé Investigate Attack; Mary Reassesses Relationship With Lola
CW's royal fantasy series is set for its second installment episode 4 where it will unveil conflicts on France's safety, on a complicated relationship and on a newly introduced villain. Recently, CW released the official synopsis of "Reign Season 2" episode 4, as Hollywood Hills reported.
The official summary for "Reign Season 2" episode 4 states that Bash and Lord Condé will be the main investigators of a shepherd attack incident that threatens the safety of France's citizens. Cartermatt reported that the shepherd was attacked by "shadowy rider in the night" and because of this, the two investigators, played by Torrance Coombs and Sean Teale, look at the possibility that the perpetrators are the "angry spirits" or the attack is a sign of a brewing religious war.
Mary, the Queen, will also have some reassessment on how she will handle her relationship with her best friend Lola, who had a child with her husband, King Francis. The illegitimate child of Francis, played by Toby Regbo, and Lola, played by Anna Pooplewell, will be christened in "Reign Season 2" episode 4.
Because of the upcoming event, Adelaide Kane's character Mary will have to examine her bond with Lola as the child will be "both a bond and an obstacle" to her marriage with France's King Francis. TV Fanatic recalled that Mary is having a hard time to conceive but this is not because she is not trying.
Amid the conflicts that surround her marriage with the King of France, Mary and Francis have already conquered a lot of obstacles and they have somehow proved that young love can result to a strong and true marriage. On the other hand, fans would still have to cross their fingers that Francis and Lola will not have a growing relationship, in expense of Mary, as the "Reign Season 2" continues.
"Reign Season 2" episode 4, titled "The Lamb and the Slaughter" will also show that Greer, played by Celina Sinden, will be looking forward and construct plans for her future as Leith, played by Jonathan Keltz, is set to go back to court.
Lola, on the other hand, will have some bad instincts and intuition about the new bride being introduced by Lord Narcisse. Played by guest star Craig Parker, Lord Narcisse will introduce her new but familiar wife and the two characters is seemingly a potential new villain for "Reign Season 2." Lord Narcisse is currently brewing a revenge that has the potential to be a threat to the entire France.
The upcoming "Reign Season 2 Episode 4" will air on Oct. 23, Thursday night on the CW.
