Nexus 6 vs Motorola Droid Turbo Comparison: Which is Better Android Phablet? - Google Has The Bigger Display But Motorola Has Better Features
Weeks before its scheduled release, Motorola’s newest phablet has been creating buzz, positive raves specifically, around tech-forums and websites. Several leaked images and specifications have been out already, as the consumers and tech-geeks cannot wait to see the new handset from the revived Silicon-Valley tech-company.
International Business Times reported that the upcoming Motorola Droid Turbo has improved benchmark scores from Geekbench, as Motorola is preparing the device on its big launch. “Currently, the devices have raked in a single-core score of 1068, and multi-core result of 2929, allowing it to easily sit on top of the charts.”
Amid the hype on Motorola Droid Turbo release, Verizon had already confirmed that it will exclusively release the device starting Oct. 28. With the imminent release of an awaited phablet phone, tech-geeks have predicted that it will have a face-to-face battle with another Motorola creation, the Nexus 6.
According to Load The Game, both smartphones are "promising powerhouses" from Motorola. Nexus 6, a partner project of search-engine giant Google and Motorola, is set for an earlier release compared to Droid Turbo’s premiere date. Both phones have been the subject of rumors and clearly, the two new smartphones are awaited by many.
To help you choose which the better Android phone is, here is a brief, but meaty comparison of the two tech-advance phablets that will be hitting the market soon.
Google and Motorola’s Nexus 6 has a bigger display at 5.9-ich QHD screen with 498 pixel density compared to Motorola Droid Turbo’s 5.2 QHD screen. At first though, Nexus 6 is better in terms of watching videos and playing games as it is equipped with a bigger display screen, but as cited in another report of International Business Times, its smaller screen make the Droid Turbo more ergonomic.
Aside from being a more easy to hold device, Droid Turbo also has a better screen material as it is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display that is both dust-and-water-resistant. Motorola’s new flagship phablet is also better in terms of camera quality. While Nexus 6 has a not-so-bad 13MP rear snapper, Droid Turbo is set to have a 21MP camera equipped with dual LED flash.
Motorola Droid Turbo is also equipped with a better battery at 3900 mAh compared to Nexus’ 3220 mAh battery. On the other hand, in terms of operating system, Nexus 6 will be the first smartphone with the newest Android Lollipop 5.0 while Droid Turbo will still be powered by the relatively inferior Android Kitkat 4.4.
Motorola has also equipped its new phablet with unique features like Turbo Charging, wireless charging, Moto Assist, Moto Actions, moto Connect, and Moto Display. Not to mention its Kevlar made body that promises smooth but bullet proof body.
Both phones have the same Snapdragon 805 processor, 32GB internal storage, and 3GB RAM.
With these compared features, it seems like Nexus 6 may be bigger but Motorola Droid Turbo has better features.
