Google Nexus 6 Release Date in USA: Along with Expected Price
Unlike most of the other big brands hosting enormous events to launch smartphones and operating systems, Google quietly announced the arrival of its Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet along with a new Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Nexus 6 is definitely a giant leap from Google, who has now teamed up with Motorola to manufacture this phone. Compared to last few phones from the company, Nexus 6 is way ahead in many terms including the price. Although Google is already accepting the preorders on its official Nexus website, Expert Reviews claims that this phone will not be out in stores before November. Fans can expect the official release date in the US around first week of November.
Talking of the price, it is the most expensive phone under the flagship brand available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants. The price for an unlocked Nexus 6 is expected to be somewhere around $649, which is a lot more than its predecessor. Naturally, Google cannot sell a lot of devices at the price and will have to team up with network carriers all across the world for a contract price with easy installments. As for now, there are no details of such a deal.
The 3220 mAh battery is said to be one of the most exciting features of this smartphone. Google has claimed that it lasts for over six hours with just 15 minutes of charging time and even supports 24-hour moderate usage when fully charged. Motorola has designed this phone beautifully in 6-inch screen frame fitted with Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.7 GHz processor and supported by 3 GB RAM. Android Lollipop will definitely come alive on this pixel-rich smartphone due to fluidic animation support and vibrant 493 pixels per inch display density and AMOLED tech.
Meanwhile, there is no doubt that fans eagerly wait for Nexus 6 release date in USA, but Google will have to announce some special price offers if they have to stand against the competition. iPhone 6, Motorola X Second Generation, LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are expected to be the biggest rivals for this new smartphone.
