The CBS' science-themed series "Big Bang Theory" is set to have an intense episode packed with an intense mission, a relationship feud and a love team update, in its new episode on Monday.

"Big Bang Theory Season 8" episode 6 will feature Sheldon and Raj's intense expedition inside a mine, Latin Post reported. The unlikely tandem "will be forced to endure intense heat while being trapped with each other when they go on an underground adventure in the name of science."

The upcoming episode, entitled "The Expedition Approximation," will show Penny's doubt in Sheldon and Raj ability to work inside a mine. "You guys are going to work in a mine? You had a panic attack when we went through the car wash," the blonde character said as seen in the video teaser released.

Sheldon and Raj tandem is Big Bang Theory's new offering to its avid viewers. As reported by Cartermatt, the two characters are not usually interactive in the show's last seasons, but this make the "Big Bang Theory Season 8" episode 6 more interesting.

CBS's series is known for its pairing of characters that are not frequently seen in the show. This trademark makes a new episode more interesting and entertaining at the same time. The released synopsis of the "Big Bag Theory" 8^th installment's episode 6 stated "Sheldon and Raj test whether they could survive adark-matter research expedition in a salt mine by simulating the conditions in a steam tunnel."

The synopsis also stated that Leonard and Penny will be seeking words of wisdom from Wolowitz and Bernadette, as they currently face a feud about finances. International Business Times reported that the couple has been squabbling about Penny's handling of money.

"Big Bang Theory Season 8" episode 6 teaser showed that upcoming confrontation of the couple as Leonard is shown saying, "I can't believe you'd say that," and "You know how insecure I am about my insecurities," to Penny. The struggling couple will then ask some financial advice to Wolowitz and Bernadette, who is ironically having some hard time as well, in terms of handling money.

Another must watch scene in the upcoming "Big Bang Theory Season 8" episode 6 is the update on 'Shamy' love team. Sheldon and Amy had already kissed in the show's last season but the fans had still been waiting for the continuation of their romance.

On "Big Bang Theory Season 8" episode 6, 'Shamy' will have a brief seen as Amy will try to stop Sheldon in going to the mine expedition with Raj. Sheldon, as a character who keeps his emotion, will only sneer at Amy.

"Big Bang Theory Season 8" episode 6, packed with a lot of exciting updates and scenes, will air at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 on ET on CBS.
