'Magic Mike 2' Release Date: It's Official! 'Magic Mike XXL' In July 2015
The sequel of the famous male stripper film "Magic Mike" will hit the big screen on 01 July 2015. This is to end the speculations of many "Magic Mike fans" on when will they see again the stripping dance of its casts especially its 34-year old lead star Channing Tatum.
Entitled "Magic Mike XXL," the movie has been moved from July 3 to July 1.
The Deadline Team mentioned that Warner Bros will allow fans two extra days to watch the film for the next Independence Day weekend.
Warner Bros assured the moviegoers for a more exciting sequel. New faces are also expected to join "Magic Mike XXL" such as Elizabeth Banks, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michael Strahan, Amber Heard and Elizabeth Banks. Most of the original cast is also part of "Magic Mike XXL."
E! Online reported that even Channing Tatum, himself, posted in his official Instagram account on the 01 July 2015 release date of the sequel.
What can moviegoers expect from "Magic Mike XXL?"
The Kings of Tampa are set to have a major performance in Myrtle Beach. Even though he bowed out to leave the life of a stripper three years ago, Magic Mike (played by Channing Tatum) joins the group for this blow-out performance. As the story goes, the group renew old friendships and develop new acquaintances as they journey to their final show. It also includes making performances along stops of Jacksonville and Savannah.
Meanwhile, Tatum revealed that his 33-yeard old wife, actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, is somehow a fan of the movie. According to Latin Post, the actor claimed that the dance moves and sexy choreography in the movie have the approval of his wife.
He added that the choreographers, who taught them the strip dance moves in the film, are good friends of Jenna.
Tatum and his wife have a 16-month old baby girl Everly. The duo met while filming the popular dance movie "Step Up" and got married three years after.
"Magic Mike XXL" is a sequel movie that many are waiting for. Its original instalment, "Magic Mike," was released in 2012 and earned around $113.7-million in the domestic box office charts. Its director, Steven Soderbergh, remains the director of the sequel.
