'Orphan Black' Season 3 Spoilers: Who is Returning for Season 3?
"Orphan Black" has officially started their production on Season 3 in Toronto, according to Clone Club. The series will be back with more clones in spring 2015.
However, the big question is who will be back? Is Rachel dead? Well, there are clues that suggest that Rachel did not survive the finale. The finale of Season 2 saw that Sarah stab a pencil to Rachel's eye as she attempt to rescued Kira however there is always a chance that Rachel will survive and she might just have an eye patch.
According to the press release of "Orphan Black" Season 3, the characters that are listed are Helena, Cosim, Alison and Sarah. Now, it simply means that Rachel's is dead. Moreover, the press release only mentions the 4 clones in their sypnosis however it does not mean that they are keeping the role of Rachel in Season 3.
Here is the sypnosis. Season 3 of "Orphan Black" plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the extreme realization that they are not alone. Just when they completely thought that they already knew their allies and enemies, Season 3 finally reveals that their clones are more vulnerable than before.
Who are these clones and who created them? The most important question to be asked is why do these clones exist? Helena, Allison, Cosima and Sarah are stronger together and Season 3 will put their bond to the test. Will they finally forge towards the truth or fall at the feet for those who will control them?
Apart from this, TV Line mentioned that Ari Millen returns in his lead role as the newly discovered male clones. The cast of "Orphan Black" Season 3 also includes Rudy as a prisoner of war and Mark as the Prolethean cult follower.
Also returning are Dylan Bruce as Paul. Jordan Gavaris as Felix, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Mrs S, Evelyne Brochu as Delphine, Kristian Bruun as Donnie, Kevin Hanchard as Art, Zoa De Grand Maison as Gracie, Skyler Wexler as Kira and Michiel Huisman as Cal.
According to Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier, the executive producers of "Orphan Black" Season 3, they are incredibly delighted and proud to be commencing the overall production of "Orphan Black" Season 3.
