'Assassin's Creed' Release Date for PC: First Look at the Characters, Set To Launch on 2015 for PC
Finally, the "Assassin's Creed: Rouge" release date for the PC is set on 2015, IGN confirmed. Owners of last generation consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS 3 will be the first ones to play this upcoming game on Nov. 11, Attack of the Fanboy reported. Ubisoft cited "production reasons" as the cause for the delay of the PC version.
With regards to an Xbox One or PS 4 versions for the "Assassin's Creed: Rouge," there is no confirmed release date yet as game developer Ubisoft simply said "can't talk about this right now." It can be inferred from the comment that Ubisoft will either concentrate in finishing the PC version before they start on the nextgen version or there is no nextgen version for "Assassin's Creed: Rouge."
Next gen Xbox One and PS4 and PC gamers do have the "Assassin's Creed: Unity" all to themselves and this version is not available to last gen consoles.
"Assassin's Creed: Rouge" is set in 18th century America during the French and Indian War, as cited by Game n Guide. In this upcoming game, players will assume the role of Shay Cormac. He is an Irish and former member of the brotherhood. He defected to the Templar Order to track down and kill his former comrade in arms.
In this upcoming game, some familiar characters from previous "Assassin's Creed" games will also make an appearance. Most notable of these characters are the two assassins, Adewale and Achilles Davenport. Other new assassins of the brotherhood are also introduced which include a female assassin and a male assassin who seemed to be in good terms with Shay.
Adewale appeared in the Black Star installment as a supporting character, in the Freedom Cry DLC however, he played the major role. Achilless Davenport first made his appearance as an old mentor in "Assassin's Creed 3." In the upcoming Rouge installment he will be shown in his younger self.
Based on the video trailer, Shay will do a lot of his battles on the open seas where warships try to sink one another.
