LG G4 Release Date, Latest News, Updates: Going to be Launched in May 2015?
LG will return next year with its widely popular LG G series smartphone. The successor of LG G2 will hit the smartphone market probably in May 2015 according to Christian Today.
The predecessor of LG G4 was released in May 2014. So the tradition will probably continue with the upcoming installment in the LG G series smartphone. The LG G2 came in the market in August 2013 but gradually company realized that the release should be done a bit earlier as big names like Samsung, Sony, HTC would rapidly heat up the season with their releases.
The LG G3 managed to maintain good record of accomplishment of sale volume. Though the company had jointly presented Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphones with Google their own G series smartphones brought delightful sale volume. The company believes the quality in a reasonable price is the key for the successful G series smartphone.
The latest LG G4 will probably contain snapdragon 810 processor. The display will have sapphire screen. The sapphire screen is actually stronger than the traditional capacitive screens. The new Apple Watch is provided with this technology but iPhone 6 misses it. The 64-bit snapdragon 810 processor will replace the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. The processor will probably be octa-core based. Users will be familiar with the Snapdragon 810 processor with devices like Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 smartphones.
Not much has been revealed fro the company about the upcoming handset. But it can be said certainly that the device will contain Android v5.0 L (Lollypop) as operating system.
According to GSMARENA The LG G3 has 3GB of RAM slot so the G4 will either stick with the same RAM slotting or have 4GB of RAM. The screen size for the earlier LG G3 is 5.5-inch. So LG G4 might stick with this same size of display as the display size is moderate and dropping down the display size seems irrelevant.
The manufacturers and users have warmly welcomed the metal build premium body trend as big name Samsung has aligned with the list now. The LG G3 already merged a bit with the metal body design so it is expected that the latest model will be packed with this stylish mettalic body frame. The price for the LG G3 was about $480 at launching so the new model might cost similar. The price range is expected to stick within $500 or a bit more as mentioned in the 3G news update.
