'The Flash': A New Superhero Joins the Big Screen this 2018
Along with the upcoming movies "Captain America 3," "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," a new superhero flashes to the big screen this 2018 - The Flash.
It was revealed in Business Insider that during an investors' conference, Warner Bros.' Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara made an announcement of the studio's upcoming film schedule.
The plot reveals police scientist Barry Allen working in his laboratory during a stormy night, when a bolt of lightning hits a tray of chemicals that splash on the scientist. Later, Barry is able to move it a high speed and becomes The Flash. The hero defends the Central City from the threat it faces.
The upcoming film stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/ The Flash. The Flash is a member of the Justice League. According to Variety, Miller will also have a cameo appearance in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
In Hollywood Life, the actor spoke his thoughts about his social life in an interview. "I'm queer. I have a lot of really wonderful friends who are of very different sexes and genders. I am very much in love with no one in particular. I've been trying to figure out relationships, you know. I don't know if it's responsible for kids of my age to be so aggressively pursuing monogamous binds, because I don't think we're ready for them," Miller said. "I do feel that it's possible to be at this age unintentionally hurtful, just by being responsible - which is fine. I'm super down with being irresponsible. I'm just trying to make sure my lack of responsibility no longer hurts people. That's where I'm at the boyfriend/girlfriend/zefriend type of question," the actor added.
Meanwhile, the CW drama series, which is also entitled "The Flash," has received notable ratings. The television series has made "best scores" for a premiere on CW, since "The Vampire Diaries" last 2009.
The film is directed by, with Greg Berlanti, Chris Brancato, Gardner Fox, Michael Green, Marc Guggenheim, Geoff Johns, Harry Lampert, and Dan Mazeau, serving as writers. The upcoming film is also produced by Alex Gartner, Geoff Johns and Dan Mazer.
The Flash will premiere in 2018, along with the movie Aquaman, which is starred by actor Jason Momoa.
