MacBook Air Retina Release Date, Features, Specs: Will it be Released Next Year?
Bad news is hovering up for the Apple fans once again. After the drop of Mac Mini release in the event of October 16 there are rumors of delaying the release of the MacBook Air Retina display. The event will take place on Apple Hall Room Auditorium at California tonight.
The launch of the latest MacBook Air will be pushed to next year while the fans are eagerly waiting for its long awaited arrival. Instead of fall release Apple might come back with the device on next spring. There are several reasons that are rumored about the delay but the main cause will be revealed today by the organizers.
The most significant news for the MacBook Air Retina launching delay is probably the rescheduled launch of the Intel's Broadwell processors. The processor manufacturer Intel was supposed to deliver the latest Broadwell processor chipset in this fall. But Intel has declared that the preparation of the processor still needs some time to compensate with the device chip. The Intel chipset is expected to arrive early next year hence the delay in the launch of MacBook Air.
The processor design was supposed to come with a thinner profile shape where the 14nm technology was about to be introduced. The 14nm processor will let the MacBook to go completely fan-less design. The processor heat extraction process is so efficient that it doesn't need an extra cooling fan to cool down. There is are rumors that the new MacBook Air will include click-less track pad, which also needs some time to work with the reduced inputs and outputs, according to Christian Today News.
Earlier this year in April Apple Company presented a refreshed MacBook Air with two different display sizes 11.6-inches and 13.3-inches. But the Retina Display was still missing with the device and the processor still needed some update, according to Gottabemobile. The Company might not have been still able to wrap the whole things up with the hardware segments.
Apple will live telecast the event on its homepage at 10 PDT where fans will get the proper answer why MacBook Air Retina is not coming this year. To watch the event live, click here.
