If you've enjoyed watching the Lego Movie, you will be glad to know that a Lego 2 movie is going to happen. From what we've gathered, it seems that even before the first film was out, there were already ongoing talks to produce the second movie. With the success of its predecessor, it made things easier for Warner Bros to go for Lego Movie 2 release.

KDramaStars talks about the latest Lego Movie 2 rumors, to which they posted that the second installment, might be a prequel instead of a sequel. As for confirmed Lego Movie 2 news and reports, the directors Phil Lord and Chris Millers had stated in an interview that they are in the stage of crafting out a story. They have so many ideas and it's a matter of choosing the best one for the next movie.

As for the Lego Movie 2 cast, the people behind the voices of Lego Movie characters are expected to reprise their roles. Chris Pratt, the actor behind Emmett hopes that his character remains vital to the storyline so that he can work with Lord and Millers again. The studio had not provided an official Lego Movie 2 release date yet but it is expected to be released after 2017.
