Apple iPod 6th Generation Price in USA: How Much to Expect?
Over the last few years the face of music industry, how it operates, and gadgets that help us retain and enjoy music has changed drastically. No space is enough to store all the music one loves and users expect much more from a dedicated music device, especially when everything they want comes in smartphones.
There was a time when iPods were at the pinnacle of music listening technology, but now people expect a lot more than just an elegant design and storage space. That is precisely why Apple is spending so much time looking into what they can possibly include in the upcoming iPod Touch 6.
If reports are to be believed, Apple is all set to launch the new device in their scheduled event on October, 14. While a lot of other devices including iMac, iPad Air, and iPad Mini are expected in this event, iPod Touch 6th Generation is the most anticipated thing here.
Talking of the features, Apple plans to introduce this variant as a complete entertainment package rather than just a browsing and music listening devices. The display is getting a complete overhaul especially for better videos and photo experience. Quite certainly, iOS 8.1 will make a huge difference on the overall experience of the users.
In terms of price, the basic version is expected to be launched at $299 for 16 GB model. The higher storage space version will get an upgrade to 128 GB, which will cost around $399. Apple plans to keep the colors Space Gray, Silver, Pink, Yellow, Blue, and Red. However, there is also some news that Apple will be coming with two different screen sizes just as they did with iPhones.
The Retina display, better camera, brilliant design and sleek style will be the highlight of this upcoming iPod, but will it really be worth this kind of money? Many market analysts believe that this is the end of iPod devices as users are more into smartphones and tablets. On the other hand, Apple looks to count on college and school students who cannot really afford either iPhones or iPads.
