Fantastic Four Reboot News and Updates: Comics Cancelled, while Reboot is a Go!
Fantastic Four Reboot News and Updates: Comics Cancelled, while Reboot is a Go!
Marvel seemed to have cancelled the Fantastic Four Comic release where it was announced by Marvel at the recent New York Comic Con.
The cancellation perhaps can be explained because Marvel is prepping the quartet in future Avengers films.
The Fantastic Four movie reboot line-up is expected to produce more films. It has been said that there would be a follow up by 2017, according to Deadline.
Since the last two Fantastic Four movies were highly successful and the last released 7 years ago, will this convince the viewers that a Fantastic Four reboot would still be a hit? Considering Marvel pulling the plug on the Fantastic Four comics? Fans of the comics could help boost the popularity of the quartet. But, based on recent reports, the Fantastic Four Comic Book has been said to be selling below par. Fox took this cue to reformulate the Fantastic Four characters in the younger generation.
Last month, an amicable settlement was made between the estate of Jack Kirby and Marvel over some royalties owed on Fantastic Four, Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, the original X-Men. Though the terms agreed was a discreet one, a joint statement was released: "Marvel and the family of Jack Kirby have amicably resolved their legal disputes, and are looking forward to advancing their shared goal of honoring Mr. Kirby's significant role in Marvel's history."
Both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created Fantastic Four.
The Fantastic Four movie release date is on August 7, 2015.
