Mike Tyson Biopic Movie Release Date, Cast, News, Spoilers and More: Jamie Foxx eager to play the role of Mike Tyson
It has recently been confirmed that there is going to be a Mike Tyson biopic film. With an outstanding acting skill, we are very happy with the news of Jamie Foxx playing Mike Tyson on the upcoming movie. The actor looks very eager to start portraying the role of one of the most popular boxers and sports figure worldwide.
As Variety had reported, Foxx is really looking forward and is even attached to this untitled Mike Tyson Biopic movie which is set to be written by Terence Winter. Foxx's manager, Rick Yorn will be the one in charge of producing the movie and leading it all to reality. For fans of Mike Tyson, this would be a great film to watch as it commemorates and let us relive the joys, sorrows, triumph, defeats of the legendary boxer they had supported for years.
Jamie Foxx's Mike Tyson movie will tackle the life story of the boxer. It will try to reflect both his ferocity and power in the ring as he does outside it. Just a bit of information, Tyson became one of the greatest boxers in history by the late 1980s. His life turned completely upside down after losing the heavyweight title to Buster Douglas in 1990. He was even sent to prison after being found guilty of rape. Even after finishing his sentence, he went back to boxing but never regaining his previous form. He had been known then for being rougher than before on the ring going as far as biting off ears of his opponents.
After quitting boxing, he began to keep out of trouble and became a part of Broadway and even released a New York Times bestseller novel. As to which part of his life will Terence be focusing on, we do not yet have a clue, but we'll make sure that you're the first to know.
That's it for now, come back later for more Mike Tyson biopic movie updates.
