"The Amazing Race" Season 25: Teams Herd Mary's Lambs in Scotland, Scott and Michael Eliminated
The Season 25 of the show "The Amazing Race" just aired its third episode last Oct 10, 2014, Friday. Episode 3 was entitled "Get Your Sheep Together." The remaining nine teams heads to Scotland for the third part of the race.
"The Amazing Race" is an American reality television show, which features eleven teams with two members each. The competing teams will race around the world and for a $1 million grand prize. The show is hosted by Phil Keoghan and the show first premiered last September 26, 2014 on CBS network.
It was noted in Leg 2 of the race that Dennis and Isabelle went to the show prepared. However, they were not able to prepare for boat punting that they got caught by the current taking them to the corner of the river. Isabelle told TVGuide, "I had never heard of punting until this!" Not surprisingly, the dating couple got eliminated last week, while their rivals Shelley and Nici managed to be Team#9.
According to a report in Reality Rewind, from Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, London during the leg 2 of the race, the third leg of Season 25 will take place on the Shetland Islands in Scotland, United Kingdom. The competing teams will try to round up some sheep while taking part in an obstacle course.
Currently, there are nine teams left competing in the race. Coming in the first place in the last leg are Adam and Bethany and they are the first to take-off to the next destination. To go to Shetland Islands, the teams must ride a train to Aberdeen, Scotland. Once they are there, they must get a Ford Focus and drive it. After that, they have to board a ferry that will sail through the North Sea and bring them to the Shetland Islands. Upon reaching the destination, they will find a person wearing a puffin costume at the National Lifeboat Institute in order to secure their next clue.
As the teams make their way to the train station, Scott tripped and injured his ankle, according to Enstarz. How will the ankle injury affect Scott and Michael's performance in the next leg?
The task ends with the following rankings: First Place - Misti and Jim, Second Place - Adam and Bethany, Third Place - Keith and Whitney, Fourth Place - Shelley and Nici, Fifth Place - Amy and Maya, Sixth Place - Brooke and Robbie, Seventh Place - Kym and Alli, Eighth Plac - Tim and Te Jay, and Ninth/Last Place - Michael and Scott.
