"Arrow" Season 3: Will Liam Neeson Reprise His Role and Plays Big Part on Season 3?
"Arrow" Season 3 might have just begun but there are already speculations about it. During the Comic-Con, Arrow show-runners announced that Ra's will probably the big baddie for this season. Hearing the news "Arrow" fans absolutely went nuts!
From that time speculations about who will be playing the role started. Liam Neeson is perfect to become that iconic baddie. Hence, fans are really hoping desperately to have Neeson reprise his character as Ra's. Eventhough we already knew that such thing is next to impossible that the huge film star would agree to accept the CW show regardless how incredible and big the show might be.
However, given that fact CW still approach Neeson and they offered the role to him. When Neeson had an interview with MTV he said something like he will reprise his role "in a heartbeat" whenever he will give them him an offer. Hence, because of this "Arrow" team was very excited.
Mark Pedowitz, CW president told Buzzfeed, "We never thought he would. We quickly went to him, just on the off-chance that he had the time to do it."
However, unfortunately it seems that fate won't allow this to happen because Neeson's time won't fit to the scheduled shooting dates and time of CW series. Thus, CW chose to have Matt Nable to take the role instead of Neeson. Matt Nable is known Australian actor as well as former rugby player.
The E! News revealed previously that Riddick star would take the returning role of Ra's as he will be the leader of assassins as well as the father of Nyssa al Ghul played by Kathrina Law. Ra's character here is proud and unforgiving man. He is ruthless, martial arts master, and history shaper- a very heavy and big role Matt Nable. We will first meet him in "Arrow" Season 3 fourth episode.
So, "Arrow" fans how do you like that? The new version of Ra's would be very exciting, although Neeson was good bet, really. CW is preparing something great for us and the new version of Ra's by Nable is another thing that we will love or hate most!
Watch "Arrows" every Wednesday on CW network at 8 p.m.
