'American Horror Story' Season 4 Spoilers: The Premiere Date, Cast, and Characters
American Horror Story Season 4 will be aired on the 8th of Oct. with an all new theme, which is Freak Show. Almost everyone have been collecting information about the growing cast as well as upcoming plotlines for months. The producers also revealed several great stuffs during Comic-Con and Summer TCA.
The Season 4 of American Horror Story is said to be set in 1950s in Jupiter, Florida. If you know what happened during the 1950s, you will already get some clues. Murphy said that it is actually the combination of time periods, with major one being the 1950. However, even if it is set in Florida, the new season will be shoot in New Orleans.
Jessica Lange will come back and plays a German ex-pat who's handling one of the freak shows in the United States. Murphy stated that they try and do the opposite in accordance to what they have done before. Today, Jessica Lange is practicing her German accent and very excited.
Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, as well as Frances Conroy will be back. The players will return in the 4th season as the performers who are rescued by Lange. Emma Roberts and Denis O'Hare were also said to be part of the Coven cast members who will transition to Freak Show like Gabourey Sidibe and Jamie Brewer. Also, Murphy admitted that he is taking to past cast members Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott about the potential roles but until now neither has confirmed yet.
The character of Paulson is a part of Freak Show. There are also other new faces. Murphy revealed that some characters like Michael Chiklis will join the cast and playing character of Peter's father and Bate's husband. The smallest woman in the world, Patti LaBelle, has also joined the cast.
This will probably be the last season of Lange. It has been the American Horror Story's backbone since the start. However, the actress has decided that the season four will be her last because of a long commitment.
It is also expected that the season will be different because it is going to have different design and look as well as cinematography standpoint compared to the previous incarnations.
