HTC Nexus 9 Release Date, Update News: Release Date Remains a Mystery But Tech-experts Tipped Launch Date is Imminent
The clock is ticking for Google and HTC's most anticipated new device, HTC Nexus 9, imminent release date.
Amid rumors about the upcoming new flagship tablet, from the search engine tech-company, no confirmation has been made yet with regards to HTC Nexus 9 release date. On the other hand, Google and HTC's partnership for a new gadget is already confirmed, iDigital Times reported.
HTC Nexus 9 has been the subject of a lot of rumors in the internet for quite some time now. It is said to be a product of Google and HTC partnership. Reports that "HTC was returning to the tablet market for the first time since 2011, when the HTC Flyer failed to make respectable sales" confirmed the said deal between the two tech-giants.
BGR reported the same confirmation citing reports that HTC engineers are spotted in Mountain View where Google's headquarters is located.
"Apparently, Google has considered HTC as its next tablet partner since last year, in a bid to avoid any manufacturer getting a hold over its Nexus devices. The company may have also been interested in both helping HTC out, as the Taiwanese company hasn't been doing too well financially for a while now."
Release date of the much awaited HTC Nexus 9 is not yet revealed but it is predicted that it's about to happen. Reports have predicted that Google and HTC will launch the tablet before October ends. The new flagship tablet is also said to have the FCC certification recently.
Gotta Be Mobile on the other hand, reported that the device's unveiling will coincide to Google's launch of its new operating system, the Android Lollipop. "The Nexus 9 release date remains a mystery, and it's safe to assume it will be announced alongside the latest Android 4.5 or 5.0 'L release' that Google announced back in June."
Aside from being the first ever device to have the Android Lollipop operating system, "HTC Nexus 9" rumored to have 8.9-inch HD display, NVIDIA Tegra K1 Quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and 3MP camera, and 16 to 32 GB storage configurations.
