Nexus 6 Release Date, Phone Specs, Rumors, Price And Leak: Leaked Benchmark Results Give An Idea Of The Specs And Features Expected From The Nexus 6 Which Is Expected To be Released Very Soon
We have the latest for you on the release date, phone specs, rumors, price and leak of the Nexus 6. It's been some few months now since news leaked of the new Google phone, the Nexus 6 which some also call the Nexus X. Rumors have circulated on the specs and release date. The most recent chatter about the new Google Nexus X is that it is set to come alongside the new Android operating system, Android L 5 which according to CP Tech, for reasons not yet clear has not yet been given a nice nestle brand like Android KitKat or Gingerbread. Many are still speculating it will be Android Lollipop but these are just mere rumors.
The new Android handset will be called Nexus 6, but this will surely be an issue as opposing legal formalities as the term seems to be closely incorporated with the 1982 American Neo-noir dystopian film "Blade Runner." Hence this will just result to fans having to just wait and see what the name of the Google handset will be once it is launched.
The Mock-up version of the upcoming Nexus X was already dished out and is being called the Motorola Shamu. Together with the benchmark results, there was also a leak of the specs of the Nexus 6. The Nexus 6 will run on the latest version of Android, Android L and it will have a 5.2-inch display with 2560*1440 pixel screen resolution. It will feature a quad-core processor and a 3GB memory. The Nexus 6 will have a storage of 24GB and a 12-megapixel rear camera plus a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Nexus 6 is expected to have a Snapdragon 800 processor and if so, it is rumored to perform almost identically to the Sony Xperia Z2, S5, HTC One M8 and One plus One. The test revealed that the Nexus 6 will not have a QHD screen which makes a1080p resolution more probable. The next gen operating system is most likely going to contain the 64-bit support chipset.
Rumors that reached CP Tech news, further speculated that the Nexus 6 will be unveiled alongside the Nexus 8 and 9 on Wednesday, October 15th or 16th.
