'The Voice' NBC Season 7, Justin Johnes Blind Audition Performance "Let Her Go" by Passenger, Watch Here (VIDEO)
"The Voice" Season 7 wrapped up the last night of 'blind auditions' on Monday night and the coaches all completed their 12 person teams. One of the highlights of the final night was the very last contestant, Justin Johnes. He performed his blind audition to Passenger's song "Let Her Go". You can check out his strong performance above.
Justin was in a tough spot as the last contestant because only Blake Shelton had a spot remaining. So he was the only coach that could turn around. Even though Justin was giving a strong performance (for only being 15) it looked like he might not get a chair to turn, but Blake turned around at the last minute to give Justin his final spot. Gwen and Adam said that they would have both turned around for him if they had spots available.
Do you think Justin can be a stand out on Team Blake?
Season 7 features new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, along with long-time coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
"The Voice" Season 7 will have many surprises and special guests including Taylor Swift being announced as a guest mentor for all team, just as Chris Martin (Coldplay) was last season.
During the 'battle rounds' country group Little Big Town will be helping out Team Blake. Adam Levine, has asked the iconic Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks to help his team out. The Fleetwood Mac member is about to bring her decades of show business experience to the NBC series.
Pharrell Williams is enlisting one R&B powerhouse singer/songwriter Alicia Keys to help his team pick the right songs in order to win American votes. Gwen Stefani is keeping the mentoring all in the family as she will bring on husband Gavin Rossdale. Rossdale is the lead singer of Bush and he has also had a very successful career as a solo artist. It will be interesting to see what advice Gavin can give to Stefani's team.
"The Voice" has become the highest rated singing competition show on television, overtaking "American Idol" and the "X Factor" which recently got cancelled. The hit NBC show has produced singers such as Cassadee Pope (Season 3), Danielle Bradbery (Season 4), Christina Grimmie (Season 6) and more.
You can check out the beginning of the ''battle rounds' for Season 7 of "The Voice" continuing starting Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC.
