'South Park Season 18': Episode 2, Gluten Panics People in South Park
Last September 24, 2014, the eighteenth season of the American animated sitcom South Park premiered on Comedy Central.
Now, the Season Two of South Park Season 18 is entitled, Gluten Free Ebola.
It starts off with the boys Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny walking through the halls of South Park Elementary with other kids looking at them with anger. The boys are going to start up their company. Wendy is mad at Stan since he broke up with her. Butters is in dilemma for blazing the gym on fire.
Meanwhile, the teachers are discussing about the next action for Butters while waiting for Mr. Mackey. Eventually, Mr. Mackey arrives and says he's late because there are doughnuts. He adds that he can't eat doughnuts because he's gluten free. Mr. Even blames Butters for catching the school on fire.
At the burned gym, the boys are thinking of the reason why the other kids are still angry. After four hours of thinking, they decide to organize a party for the diabetic Scott Malcinson. The boys go to the radio station to advertise the party and suddenly, two calls come in about being gluten free. After that, the annoyed Mr. Garrison also calls in and says if one more calls in about being gluten free, then he is going to kiss that person.
In the South Park Community Center, a guy talks about healthy and non-healthy diet. He also discusses the misconceptions about gluten. Having known more about what gluten is, the people realized that gluten is not harmful. Mr. Mackey suggests eating the purely concentrated gluten that he sees. He eats the concentrated gluten and develops stomachache. Right after seeing what the pure gluten did to Ms. Mackey, everybody in the Community Center runs away because they are frightened. This also panics Mr. Garrison. The adults of South Park also panic and gets rid of all products in town.
Meanwhile, the USDA is performing tests and experiments on the pure gluten. They thought it was healthy and now they are confused. The USDA scientists keep trying where they went wrong.
Cartman is on his bed and doesn't want to leave because he doesn't want a party without cake and pizza. He dreams that his friends tease him for throwing a lame party.
At Stan's house, men it suits show up and say that they have had gluten reports. The men find a beer and they lock Randy in quarantine at Papa John's, together with Mr. Garrison and another character.
In the USDA, the scientists are panicking because it's almost dinnertime. They think that if they don't hurry, people will die. Cartman calls them and tells them to turn the food pyramid upside down. The scientists follow and see that they now have a healthy diet. They have to consume more fat and oil.
At the end of the episode, the party is back and the kids are eating their food with butter. Wendy asks Stan for a dance.
And this places everything at South Park to normal.
