Google HTC Nexus 9 Tablet vs Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Release Date, Specs, Features: Taiwanese manufacturer (HTC) is set to release two new own-brand tablets, T7 and T12, presumably later this year
With so many tablets in the market mainly Sony Xperia Z3, Nexus 9 and two new tablets from HTC, you might be confused which one to buy. According to the sources, the Taiwanese manufacturer (HTC) is set to release two new own-brand tablets, T7 and T12, presumably later this year. And Sony will make Xperia Z3 available in the U.S. just in time for the holiday season.
Let us check the specification of Nexus 9, HTC (T7 & T12) and Sony Xperia Z3:
According to the sources, HTC is working on two new own-brand tablets on the side. The website doesn't go into more detail, nor has it revealed pictures of the supposed devices. Judging by the codenames of the projects, we could assume HTC is vying to take on the 7-inch and 12-inch tablet markets, although the Nexus 9 codename (T1) blows this naming convention apart.
The Nexus 9 is said to be powered by a mighty 64-bit Tegra K1 processor, andinclude 64GB of storage, making it ideal for gaming and enjoying your media collection on the move. The casing is thought to be made of gorgeous and durable aluminium like the HTC One M8, and will feature an 8.9-inch display. HTC is no stranger to the tablet market, although it's been a while. In 2011, the company launched the HTC Flyer - a 7-inch tablet that proved a bit of a damp squib in terms of features and eventually sales. Shortly after it went on sale, HTC discontinued the device, so let's hope these latest tablets offer a little more now the tablet market has grown in popularity.
HTC has previously hinted new tablets since its first failure, with company Chairwoman Cher Wang saying: "When the tablet comes out it will be something nice and disruptive." On the otherhand, the Android KitKat 4.4.4-powered Sony Xperia Z3 features a super-slim 146x72x7.3mm, 152g rounded aluminium frame with durable tempered glass panels. A 5.2in (1920x1080) ultra-bright display uses Sony's Triluminous, Live Colour LED and X-Reality tech, and is said to be easily readable even in bright sunlight.
Sony Xperia Z3 is available in black, white, copper and silver green, the Sony Xperia Z3 also offers better waterproofing protection than ever, with its IP65/68 rating meaning it can survive up to 30 minutes at depths of up to 1.5m.
The Sony Xperia Z3 is fitted with a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics. It's available with 16- or 32GB of storage, and microSD cards up to 128GB in capacity are supported.
Battery life is also extended, says Sony, and you could get up to two days from the Xperia Z3's 3100mAh non-removable cell and Stamina power-saving mode.
