Dragon Ball Z: Plot, Cast, News, Updates, Trailer, Release Date in 2015
Dragon Ball Z is a 2015 film, based from the anime television series created by Akira Toriyama and produced by Toei Animation. It serves as the fifteenth Dragon Ball Z movie.
The story follows the protagonist Goku and his companions as they defend planet Earth against a multitude of villains, such as interplanetary space fighters, potent androids, and almost imperishable enchanted creatures. The film is a continuance of Goku's adult life, in line with the maturation of his son, Gohan.
Reports say that in the plot, his rivals Piccolo and Vegeta will transform from enemies into allies. There are also rumors on Facebook that Goku will be encountering an evil Goku.
Dragon Ball Z stars Masako Nozawa as the main protagonist, Goku. No other members of the cast was revealed.
As per creator and director Akira Toriyama, the film is in progress. He is set to contribute the concept, script, and character designs for the film. Toriyama also added that the film will have a new story, something like the original manga. In the September 14 issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump, he also pledged more combat scenes and he teased that the story will be "utterly funny." Toriyama created both the franchise manga and anime series.
A trailer is available on dragonball2015.com, the Dragon Ball Z movie official website. The trailer ran for 44 seconds using the Japanese language. It initially reveals Shernon, the dragon, speaking. Afterwards, Goku appears and powers up. The video concludes with a flash of Nihongo characters, followed by the release date GW 2015, in Japan.
Dragon Ball Z is scheduled to debut in theaters and cinemas in Japan at the end of April or the start of May 2015, in accordance with the Japanese spring and summer vacation as well as Japan's Golden Week. However, there is no announcement yet as to when the movie will be shown outside Japan.
