Apple iPhone 6 Plus vs Google Nexus 6 vs Motorola Moto X Release Date, Specs, Features, Price: It's a battle of three powerful smartphones let us wait and watch who among them wins this battle!!
It's a battle of three powerful smartphones Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Google Nexus 6, Motorola Moto X. As Apple's much-anticipated iPhone has finally arrived, but there's still stiff competition from the Android space. Motorola has also re-launched the latest iteration of one of its critically acclaimed devices too - the MotoX and Google hasn't unveiled its Google Nexus 6 yet, but rumors already claimed that it'll top all smartphones; that include Windows, Apple, Android and Blackberry.
Apple's latest iPhone is quite far removed from all previous models thanks to its expansion in size - it now accommodates a 5.5 in display, up from the 4-inches of the previous model. More than that, the design has received quite an extensive overhaul, it's still aluminium with a glass front, but the edges and corners are considerably softer for an altogether more rounded appearance. The screen has been enlarged and the resolution improved alongside, but the end result is a pixel density and sharpness similar to the previous 4in Retina setup at the same 326ppi. It's still IPS LCD,
Screen it was expected that the iPhone will offer larger screens. So, as expected iPhone 6 plus comes in a 5.5- inch in IPS LCD, 1920 X 1080 pixels, 401ppi Apple sticks with its LCD panel IPS and 'dual domain' technology to ensure bright colors and wide viewing angles. While, the Google Nexus 6 the Nexus 6 will come with a 5.2-inch screen display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 meaning a pixel density of 496 ppi and Moto X has 5.2-inch Amoled, 1920x1080 pixels,424ppi
In the iPhone 6 plus, Apple sticks with a 1/3-inch 8MP 'iSight' sensor with True Tone flash on the rear, and 1.2MP 'FaceTime' camera on the front. Google Nexus will feature a 13MP primary rear camera as well as a 2.1MP front camera that has several superb capabilities like autofocus, optical image stabilization, and LED flash. While, Moto X has 13-megapixel, dual-LED flash, 2160p video.
In terms of processing power, it's the usual Android versus iOS contrast; the Moto X crams in a lot of power with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, while Apple's iPhone 6 uses its own custom A8 dual-core chip, which on paper at least seems less impressive, but actually has some clever tricks up its sleeve. A big part of the experience, of course, is the software, and both Android KitKat and iOS 8 are extremely well-optimised. In this sense, a lot of the processing power is largely excess, but it does count for something when playing high-end games or intensively multitasking. In each case these devices both perform very well indeed.
Both handsets are guaranteed an update to the next successive software versions when they emerge; the Moto X will get Android L and Apple always supports its previous flagship on subsequent versions of iOS (next year it'll be the turn of iOS 9). One of the great things about the Moto X (and indeed much of Motorola's recent line-up) is that it runs Android in a more-or-less stock setup just like Google's Nexus devices.
