Samsung Galaxy Alpha Release Date, Specs, Features, Price: Samsung's launch plan for the US market new Galaxy Alpha will be available exclusively through AT&T starting September 26

The Samsung and Apple are the Athen and Sparta of the technology world. As always once again there is a tough competition between Samsung and Apple. As apple has launched iphone6 and iphone 6 plus this month and now Samsung is coming up with new Galaxy Alpha which will be released on 26^th September. Notably, Samsung during the global launch of the handset, had called the Galaxy Alpha "the evolution of Galaxy Design", touting "metal frame, elegantly curved corners, and a tactile soft back cover".  Samsung is always been known for its design and this can be seen in Galaxy Alpha too.

While announcing the Galaxy Alpha, Samsung had announced that the smart phone would be globally released starting September in over 150 countries. Samsung's new Galaxy Alpha will be available exclusively through AT&T starting September 26. The phone will cost $199.99 on a two-year contact with AT&T, or $25.55 per month through AT&T's Next 18 plan or $30.65 per month if you choose the carriers Next 12 payment option.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha, the metal-clad, premium-looking smart phone is now listed as "In Stock" by the online retailer "Expansys" in the U.S. People can get the phone in three colors : Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, and Frosted Gold.

The Galaxy Alpha sets itself apart from Samsung's other releases with its metallic chamfered edges which makes the phone's rim look slightly similar to that of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s.

The Galaxy Alpha is slightly smaller than Samsung's flagship Galaxy S5, since it comes with a 4.7-inch 720p screen. The Alpha also comes with a 12-megapixel main camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera.

The South Korean tech giant has also released a new advertisement showcasing all qualities of the recently-unveiled smart phone, putting a focus on the people who will live up to the device's premium name - in this case a DJ, designer and stylist.
