The Flash Season 1 news: Prison Break alums Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell to play villains in the upcoming superhero series
The Flash Season 1 news: Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell of Prison Break fame will guest star as villains in Arrow's spinoff series, The Flash Season 1.
Miller will play Leonard Snart, also known as the ruthless Captain Cold. Purcell on the other hand, has signed on to be Mick Rory, also known as the pyromaniac Heat Wave in the DC Comics universe. Fans can expect the two from The Flash Season 1, Episode 4 onwards.
It's the first time the two have been onscreen together since Prison Break ended in 2009.
Another Prison Break alumnus, Robert Knepper, who played the convict T-Bag on the erstwhile series, will play The Clock King in The Flash Season 1.
The Flash Season 1 stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, a forensic detective who becomes extraordinarily fast after being hit by a lightning bolt. He then becomes Central City's hero, fighting crime just a few miles away from Green Arrow's home turf, Starling City.
The Flash Facebook page, which now has over a million fans, recently released The Flash Season 1 trailer, which shows how Barry got his superpowers and how he emerged as his city's champion.
Catch The Flash Season 1 premiere on October 7 on The CW.
