Halo 5: The Upcoming Installment of The Halo Franchise: News, Updates, Release Date and More!

Halo 5 or also known as Halo 5: Guardians is coming out soon! Gamers, are you ready? This first person shooting video game is the sequel to Halo 4. The game is developed by 343 industries and published by Microsoft Studios. The release was first announced at the E3 last 2013. And it wasn't until May this year that they finally gave the "Guardians" title and finalized a release date.

The game will be made exclusive for the Xbox One format. Why just the Xbox One? It allowed the developers to broaden the game scope as well as utilize or pay tribute to the console's most dedicated servers.

A television series of the game is also set to air about the same time the game is going to be launched. The show is being produced by Steven Spielberg himself.

Phil Spencer announced, during the game's reveal, that the trilogy of the Reclaimer will be expanded. Spencer explained further on that he didn't want to limit within a trilogy.

The game is scheduled to come out Fall, next year. The Halo 5 multiplayer beta is scheduled to be released on December this year. For gamers to get access of the beta, they will have to get for themselves the Halo: Master Chief Collection. This will include the beta key, as well as the "Halo: Nightfall" series. The nightfall series will also unlock content in the beta.
