Gordon Mote and Wife Kimberly Announce They’re Going to be Grandparents

Beloved gospel artist, award-winning producer, and acclaimed keyboardist Gordon Mote, along with his wife Kimberly, are overjoyed to announce that they will soon become first-time grandparents.
Their daughter, Samantha, and her husband Jack are expecting their first child - a baby boy - due in mid-October. The news marks a joyful new chapter for the Mote family, known and loved by fans around the world for their music, faith, and authenticity.
"We are counting down the days!" said Mote. "We've been told that having a grandchild is one of the greatest things in life, and we can't wait to see for ourselves! We are so proud of Samantha and Jack and all they've accomplished in their five years of marriage. We know this next stage will be even sweeter. Our grandson is expected to arrive in mid-October - possibly even on my birthday, the 25th! Wouldn't that be something? I'm sure Kimberly and I will be just as silly as the rest of you grandparents. Like I said... we can't wait! Jack and Samantha are going to be great parents."
In celebration of this exciting milestone, the Motes are inviting friends and fans to enjoy a nostalgic look back at precious memories with Samantha, their firstborn, as they prepare to welcome a new generation into the family.
Blind since birth, Gordon Mote is a renowned Christian musician, producer, and vocalist. A GRAMMY® and Dove Award nominee, Mote has performed with artists such as Lee Greenwood, Trisha Yearwood, and the Gaither Vocal Band. As a solo artist, he has released numerous acclaimed albums that blend gospel, southern, and inspirational music. His heartfelt songs and extraordinary musical gift have made him a respected voice in both Christian and country music.
